A couple of years ago, I had the pleasure of attending Mule Days in Columbia and at the show grounds I ate a delicious steak sandwich and purchased a bottle of marinade from Betty's. WOW!! It is without question the best marinade I have ever used. Last year I went to Nashville on a business trip and I drove back to East Tennessee via Columbia, just to visit Betty's and to purchase more marinade. I enjoyed my visit to Columbia. Folks at Betty's gave me directions to a couple of tour sites in town. The James K. Polk home tour was great, but Columbia's real claim to fame should be this great marinade!! In case you folks wonder where Ten Mile is located.. we're mid way between Knoxville and Chattanooga, on the Tennessee River next to Watts Bar lake. Good crappie fishing on Watts Bar and Chickamauga lakes, ya'll come.

Before my wife, Tina Overbey, started working at Betty's, I loved it when Tim would come out to the race track here in Hohenwald and race and bring his steaks! He would grill them up right there and feed all that he could right there at this pit! Man, that was great! Since then, Tina has become a waitress there and I'm so proud that she is working for such wonderful people. They don't just have great steaks, they have a family atmosphere! Thank you Tim and Lynn for letting our family become part of yours at Betty's! By the way, remind Tina every so often to grab a bottle of Betty's Best, I hate it when we run out, there's no use when she works there! ha/ha. Thanks to all of you great people at Betty's. ( And I have to mention Lisa Peden since she is a good family friend. She is a great waitress also)!

My wife, who can't even eat steak without it dripping in A-1steak sauce, loves the taste and doesn't even bother looking in the fridge for her A-1 (which we don't need to purchase anymore). My sons and I are 'pure steak' lovers. Since discovering Betty's Best, we don't have to go out to enjoy restaurant quality (or better) steak. We only wish it was on every grocery shelf, not having to worry about running out between internet orders.
